Childhood

Hello! How are you? Today I will tell you about my childhood!! I love the children!! When I was a girl, I lived in a nice house that was next to my nursery school. I used to go to the nursery school which now belongs to my grandmother. It called Jardín Girasol, and is the best nursery school.

After 3 years I used to play tennis every Saturday with my daddy. Now, at age16, I continue playing tennis, but less than before. In the vacations I used to go to Reñaca (near Viña) or to Los Boldos (in Villarrica).

There, my sister Amalia, my brother Juampi and I (because my other sister hadn’t been born) used to swim in the lake Villarrica and used to make sandcastles. But we didn’t used to ski, because we were very small, we only used to walk by boat.

Then we moved to another house, which was very pretty. This house I remember very well, because in the other I was very small. The new house was located near the school, where I study now.

I remember that very day, after the nursery school, I used to go to the square, where I used to play all afternoon with my friends.

my house

Hi friends! How are you? Today I will tell you about my house and my neighbourhood.

My neighbourhood calls Santa María de Manquehue. It is in Vitacura and near La Dehesa, another neihbourhood.

We are 6 brethren, my parents and my “nanas”. My house is very normal, neither large nor small. But we are a lot and sometimes my

house is not large enough.
It has Mediterranean style; color is kind of weird, like purple; has two floors and consists of four bedrooms for the children, one for my parents and two for my “nanas”. Also has a visit bathroom for the people the people who come to my house, one bathroom for my parents, three for the children and one for my “nanas”.

Of course my house has a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a games room. I like very much my garden, because has a very nice barbecue and a swimming pool.

This year (starting next year) my house will be enlarge, because my mother is pregnant and in November, we will have a new brother. We will be 7 brethren and our house isn’t great for my big family.

favorite dish

Hallo friends! How are you? How were your holidays? My holidays were very cool! Ok, today I will tell about my favorite dish. I love the food, but I don’t like every dishes. For example I don´t like hedgehogs, oysters

(I really don’t like the things of the sea). Nor I don’t like cauliflower, eggplant.

In general I like the food from my house. I have many favorit

e dishes. I love for example the French fries with meat, noodles, Carpaccio, risotto, shrimp etc. To drink, I love diet Coke, the water and all the sodas, but the Coca Cola is always the best soda in the world. I don’t like so much juice.

Dessert?! I love the Oreo cake, dessert with chocolate and “manjar” but I really like the fruit. All the fruit in the world are good, I think, kiwis, peach, strawberries etc.. I eat every day at least 3 o 4 fruits.

Then my favorite dish could be for example French fries with meat, drinking a glass of diet

Coke, and to the end a plate with lots of fruits.

Hi friends! How are you? I’m fine but tired. Next week, my school goes on September vacation. I'm looking forward to that day, Friday 11 September. Do you want to know where I go to my vacation? Ok I will tell you.

On Monday 13 September I will go with Fran Martínez, Vero Córdova to Angelica’s House in Cachagua. We will have a good time!! In Cachagua we plan to go to the “Fonda Puchuncaví”. Do you know, what is a Fonda? A Fonda is a Chilean party. The people go to the Fonda on 18. September, the national day of Chile. In a Fonda the people drink Chicha (Chilean drink), eat meat, “Empanadas” and of course dance Cueca, the typical dance of my country. I love the 18. September! It’s very cool!

Also in Cachagua we will play tennis, read a good book, go in a Party, meet together with friends and make a delicious barbecue with the Family of Ange!

This vacations are a very good time to relax and do fun things!!

Favorite Movie

Hi girls! How are you? I’m very good. Today I will tell you about movies. I love watching movies, romantic movies, action movies; comic movies all have something special.

Do you have a favorite movie? I don’t have a favorite movie, but of course I prefer watching some especially movies. Last week I saw the film, it call “The notebook”. It is a very romantic movie. The principal actors, who act in this movie, are Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

Do you want to know something about this amazing movie?

The story is about two young lovers, Allie Hamilation and Noah Calhoun, who meet one day at a carnival. Although the two are falling in love, Allie's parents forbid the relationship and move Allie away. After waiting for any sign (such as letters) from Noah from years, Allie meets Lon and becomes engaged. However, Allie still has feelings for Noah. Despite her commitment for Lon, Allie decides to visit Noah to see how he's doing after seeing his picture in the newspaper in front of a house he said he was going to restore (and did). It soon becomes aparent that they have feeling for each other. Allie now has to choose between Lon, the man she had already scheduled to marry, and Noah, the man who she subconsciously wants. Allie picks Noah, her one true love, and dumps Lon. Noah and Allie end up having a happy life and die together peacefully in the nursing home, side by side.

Coanil

Hallo friends!! How are you? I hope you are fine.

Today I will speak about my experience in Coanil. My class decided to go every Saturday to this institution.
Coanil is an institution that serves children and teenagers with mental problems. This people don’t have so much money and when they are in Coanil, they don’t check. This institution is free.
Last Saturday I catch the bus with a lot of my friends and we went to Coanil. Much people that had gone before told us that the children had a lot of problem but they are very sweet and good children. I was a bit scared, because I never was with children and teenager with this problem.
We arrived in Coanil, I see the children. When we smiled, they smiled.
I cut splice with a friend, and we dress the children and combed their hair. In this room I spoke with Jorge. He is a teenager (13 years), he had fewer problems than others. He can read, speak and sometimes he study.
This experience was very good, and I hope to go every Saturday this year.

After writing in my blog I can write better than before, because I like writing in my blog, it is a great form to write in English. But I think that we could write less often, because it’s very cool write in the blog, but when we write very too often, it is boring.

Why do I like this?

Because is a different shape to speak English better.

Because we can say our opinion about divers topics.

I think my English improved after writing blog, probably because I was very excited about this method and what I remain. I love it.

Patch Adams

Hi friends, well I will speak about Patch Adams. He is an exceptional man. Patch was born in the year 1945 in Washington D.C. He is an American doctor and professional clown. Adams married Edquist and had two children. In the year 1972 he founded the Gesundheit! Institute, it is in Hillsboro in West Virginia.

But friends, do you know why is Patch Adams important?

He is the inventor of the laugh for medical and therapeutic, and is responsible for its inclusion in modern medicine. Also he convinced of the powerful connection between environment and wellness. Patch Adams organized a group of volunteer from around the world. They travel and they dress as clowns to bring hope to orphans.

I think that Patch Adams is an incredible man. Thanks to him many people may be happy during his illness. Through laughter many people treatment improves.

My ideal holiday

Hallo girls!! How are you? I hope well!
Ok, today I will speak about my ideal holiday. There are many places where I would like to go.

First I like to travel to Isla de Pascua in my country. I find it very important to know our country well. My dream is to go to this island with all my family know it and swim at the beach. I would love to see an authentic “Moai”!! They are made of stone and very large.

Then I would go to Germany. I like this country; I think that Germany has very precious things and interesting traditions. But I would go mainly to see if I can speak German or if I can’t.

To finish my ideal holiday, I would go to a beach to relax. This could be Australia, I would like to know. I love the beach, the sun, and I would love to surfing. It is a very extreme and funny sport I think.

allo girls!! How are you? I hope well!
Ok, today I will speak about England, I love this country.
Now, I’m going to tell you something about this interesting country. Its capital is London. It belongs to the European Union.
Scotland, Wales and England have the same queen, she is called Elizabeth II. This union is known as United Kingdom.

I'm going to talk more about London, the capital.
Last year I traveled to London. I was impressed by entertaining things.
Do you know Buckingham's palace? It is the palace where the queen lives. It has 332 rooms, 78 bathrooms and 19 rooms of being. It is very big.

Another thing that I found cool from London is a museum. It is called Madam Tussauds. It is a museum that has sculptures of wax of big famous.
Finally is the famous "London Eye". Since it can be seen a lot of London.
Last I would like to say my opinion about living in England

I would love to live in England; I love the culture and different cultures that exist in England, especially in London.
Also England is in Europe that I love, and there are many attractions as I said before.

Hi friends! How are you? Today I’m going to talk about ecology in Chile, my country. In Chile there are many problems in this area, the greater the pollution and global warming.


Also there is a lot of litter in the streets, a los of cars and a lot of air pollution. That's why the atmosphere from Santiago, the capital of Chile, is wrong.


All this affects global warming, that you know is a big problem now in trhe world. The main effect is thar the weather is changing arond the world.


Also in the world is another big problem. The countries don't have energy and water. Many people say that the solution is renowable energy. Wind energy, solar energy and hidro-electric energy are good example of renowable energys.


How can you help the world in this problem?

• I think we should use bicycles or walk for short journeys




• We should recycle bottles and rubbish

Dear Friends: Today I will tell you about the music I like and my favorite musicians.
One of my favorite groups is "The Killers." They are from the city of Las Vegas, USA. His name in Spanish means "los asesinos”
The group started in the year 2002. My favorite song of this group is Human. I love it!

Another singer that I love is Juanes. He was born in Medellin, Colombia. His true name is Juan Esteban Aristizabal Vasquez, but his nickname is Juanes. He started singing in the year 1988.

Do you know Amaia Montero? She is a great singer! My favorite song is “Quiero ser”. Amaia Montero was born in País Vasco, Spain. She always sang in her old group, La Oreja de Van Gohg. But last year she started singing single.

My name is Maria Soledad, but all person call me Sole. I'm 15 years old, and on 14 th July is my birthday. In my family we are eight. My brother, Juan Paulo is 17 years old and is the oldest. Then come I (15), Amalia (12), Dominga (8), Elisa (6) and Ignacia (4). My mother's name is Soledad, like me and my father call Juan Paulo, like my brother.
In my free time I play tennis, do athletic, surf in the internet and listen to music.
I like sport, because my father do a lot sport for example he o¿always play tennis, play scuash, football, ride horse, go to the gym and play football.
